Azusa Community Garden

The new Memorial Park Community Garden project is being funded in part by grants from Azusa Light & Water, the Canyon City Foundation and the Rivers and Mountains Conservancy to California Resource Connections, Inc. (CRC), a 501c3 non-profit organization created to develop science-based research, education, planning, and demonstration programs that focus on improving the health of human communities and natural systems while connecting people to land.

CRC is designing and constructing the new Memorial Park Community Garden, just south of the North Recreation Center, with support from City of Azusa Recreation and Family Services, Azusa Rotary Club, Rain Bird Corporation, Vulcan Materials Company, and other partners. Garden plots will be available for rent for a nominal yearly fee, providing residents the opportunity to cultivate vegetable gardens while learning and promoting sustainable living practices. For more information regarding the CRC, please visit Watershed Conservation Authority.
