Bookmobile Policies
  • Visitors may check out 8 items, including 2 A/V items.
  • Items checked out from the Bookmobile are loaned for a 3-week period.
  • Responsibility for late fees and lost or damaged items is that of the patron. In the case of minors, the parent or guardian will be responsible.
  • Items borrowed from the Bookmobile may be returned to the City Library, and those borrowed from the Library may be returned to the Bookmobile.
  • Patrons wishing to renew materials may bring materials back to the Bookmobile for renewal, call the Library for renewal over the telephone, or renew online. Audiobooks, DVDs and CDs are not renewable.
  • Applications for user cards may be made on the Bookmobile or the Library. This card may be used in either location.
  • Bookmobile and Library services are free. The replacement fee for lost cards is $3.
  • In the event the Bookmobile is unable to make a scheduled stop, please call to renew your items or return them on our next scheduled visit. For more information, please call the Bookmobile at 626-629-0009.
