The Azusa Police Department is responsible for enforcing parking laws within the City of Azusa. Parking laws are regulated under the Azusa Municipal Code and the California Vehicle Code.

Parking laws exist to provide free thoroughfare of vehicle traffic on roadways and in parking lots. They also assist in ensuring there is adequate parking for emergency vehicles and people with disabilities who have obtained a Disabled Person Parking Placard.
