The California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (DDW) requires Azusa Light & Water (ALW) to provide annual water quality testing results to its consumers.
These reports are designed to inform you about drinking water quality and to consider the challenges of delivering a safe and protected supply of drinking water. We encourage you to read the reports carefully to familiarize yourself with the protection and conservation of ALW's valuable water resources.
ALW is required by DDW to test well water for organic chemicals, minerals, metals, and bacteria. ALW is also required to test regularly for bacteria and total trihalomethanes in our distribution system. Lead and copper are tested in tap water from selected residences. ALW is required to test and monitor the water quality of all our sources of water.
