The library's program provides a limited number of scholarships to adult students looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare for workforce entry or continue their education. To be eligible for the program, applicants must successfully complete an online self-assessment and prerequisite course, followed by an in-person interview. For more information, please visit our FAQs page.

Once enrolled, COHS matches each student with an online academic coach. The academic coach provides guidance and support, evaluates performance, and connects the student with the resources needed to succeed in the courses. Students will be given up to 18 months to complete the program.

The program can be accessed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week online. Students will learn at their own pace making this an ideal program for busy adults.

To commit to the online courses, a prospective student must have access to a computer, laptop, or tablet. Coursework is not available through smart phones at this time.
