Evaluation, Measurement and Verification Report

Azusa Light & Water (Azusa) offers a number of energy efficiency to its customers throughout the City of Azusa. This report describes these Azusa energy efficiency incentive programs and the Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification (EM&V) plans to be implemented for those programs.

Energy Efficiency Report

Through its energy efficiency programs, the City of Azusa continues to improve its operational efficiency for our customers and reduce the load on the electric grid. By promoting energy efficiency and providing different programs, Azusa Light & Water can effectively reduce operating costs and improve comfort and safety for our customers. These programs can serve to maintain or lower electric rates - and benefit the customers that we serve.

California’s publicly owned utilities (POUs), including Azusa Light & Water, have collaborated since 2006 on developing energy efficiency programs and reporting annual results to their customers and the California Energy Commission (CEC) in a consistent and comprehensive manner. The thirteenth report presents the latest results from POU’s wide range of energy efficiency programs.
